SQA Engineer - SDLC

Our customer requires a contract embedded software test engineer  for a 12 month contract in Noerth Andover, MA. 
        

 Would be running test procedures and reporting results and assisting either developer or senior test engineer in trouble shooting

Test environment is somewhat formal

The software to be worked on is an interface to the embedded systems and could be running under Linux or MS-Windows

They use Quality Center to report results

Industrial protocol knowledge would be nice as it would save a learning curve - but any data communications experience would be advantageous

A new grad would fit if they had done an internship testing software.

Familiar with the software dev life cycle and cross-discipline functions

Standards- and process-oriented

Technically capable of learning complex software systems (client, server, embedded, Windows & Linux) quickly

Good communication skills – written & verbal

BACnet, Lon, or Modbus experience a bonus
