Sr Cslt - Lean Six Sigma Training Lead

Position Responsibilities

The Lean Six Sigma Training Lead has the ultimate responsibility and accountability for the effective training of select employees including Master Black Belts, Black Belts, Green Belts and Process Champions at Verizon on Lean Six Sigma and other improvement methodologies to help achieve desired results. This incumbent will have demonstrated a proven track record of implementing, managing and obtaining results from leading companywide Lean Six Sigma training. He or She must be a change agent with a passion for educating and growing people while continually building on their own learning capabilities to continuously innovate our core process excellence training center.

• Develop the overall training plan for specific audience.
  
• Effectively manage training agenda, logistics and external consultants as needed.
  
• Develop training materials or build on existing training materials to align with Verizon's Credo, CEO vision and our core values.
  
• Monitor and adapt Verizon success stories and trials into training materials for Process Champions.
  
• Share lessons learned and propose actions to improve on internal processes.
  
• Mentor Master Black Belts, Black Belts and Green Belts as a subject matter on any given subject matter.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 10 years experience practicing Lean Six Sigma and experience in developing, implementing and delivering training in large complex organization.
  
• Master Black Belt.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Business, or other technical discipline and/or equivalent work experience (First consideration will be given to those candidates who hold a degree).
  
• Proven leadership skills and strong business acumen.
  
• Ability to lead self and others in a highly performing and success driven company.
  
• Quick learner who can quickly embrace the company's strategy and influence thinking.
  
• Excellent presentation skills with solid communication abilities, both oral and written.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated expertise in leading group and cross-functional training.
  
• Respected and trusted leader with a proven track record of achieving results.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Graduate degree and MBA preferred.
