Job Location: US-CA-Stockton
Job Description:
My client in the Lodi Ca area is looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to join their team.
The right candidate will provide electrical/controls engineering support for the entire facility.
The Controls Engineer will function as the lead Electrical/Controls engineer on capital projects while working with safety, sanitation, regulatory codes, environmental, and Electrical/Controls projects
Required Skills/Experiences
• Experience with plant manufacturing systems
• Experience in electrical/controls technology in a packaging and processing environment
• Strong working knowledge of Electrical power distribution systems and devices.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC5, SLC 5/05 and Control Logix PLC’s and associated Rockwell software.
• Background in control networks including Ethernet/IP, RIO, DH+, DeviceNet, and ControlNet.
• Proficient in Wonderware Application and Terminal Server applications.
• Experience with Wonderware Historian (INSQL)
• Experience with PID process control utilizing instrumentation for flow, pressure, temperature, level, and weighing.
• Strong background in Electrical and Controls Capital Project Management and execution.
• Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills in areas of Control Software and Programming, Control Hardware issues, Process Control, and Packaging Controls Systems including Discrete and integrated Motion Control.
• Able to apply root cause analysis to resolve systematic or reoccurring control issues.
• Demonstrated ability to implement new technology that meets GMI business and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to develop/drive control strategies to improve system utilization and reliability
